16 Lessons I learned in 2016

In no particular order:

1. Dreams and Goals change as they develop and it is important to change with them.
2. Some Friends are only for a season.
3. Being a part of a healthy community of people is vital.
4. My love for my kids continue to grow daily and I am amazed by how much love there is.
5. God always fulfills his promises. Always.
6. Adopting is hard and it’s ok that people don’t understand.
7. Give and be generous even if that takes risk.
8. Hurt people hurt people.
9. Our family supporting us in everything we do is rare and valued.
10. My husband is amazing even through the hard times. I’ve always known this but esp seen it this year.
11. I have learned to trust God and what he is saying even if everything else in my life says different.
12. Once I give God something I learned to really give it to him with my heart and not just words.
13. I learned how to show grace and forgiveness without getting stepped on.
14. It takes growth and maturity to be able to self reflect and many people are not capable of that.
15. Push yourself to invest in relationships even if that means you risk getting hurt.
16. God has performed miracles in my family’s lives this year. I have a whole prayer wall to show it. And when I say miracles I really mean it.
