We are not perfect mothers, but we do try. That makes us a good mom.
Being a good mom doesn’t mean we get it perfect every time. It means we see where we have failed and try harder next time.
Being a good mom doesn’t mean we succeed in all areas every day. It means when we go to bed feeling like we took 15 steps backwards, that we wake up the next day and try again.
Being a good mother means to try. Being a good mother means there will be days where we feel exhausted, lonely, or like a failure. But that makes us a good mom because we care.
To the mom who is tired: You are a good mom because you have worked so hard loving your children that you can barely stay awake.
To the mom who is lonely: You are a good mom because you dedicate your time to your children freely.
To the mom who feels like a failure: You are a good mom because you work so hard to succeed for your children.
